FAQ

Is this an investment?
No. Back40 Share is a contribution/support platform. You are supporting a farm project, not purchasing equity.
Where does my contribution go?
Your contribution is processed by our payment processor and directed to the selected farm project. Back40 Share applies a 3% platform fee to supporters and a 3% platform fee to farms to cover operating costs and keep the platform sustainable.
When do farms receive funds?
Contributions are processed immediately, but funds may not be available to farms right away. Payout timing (including possible rolling delays, reserves, chargebacks, or compliance reviews) is determined by the payment processor. Back40 Share does not control payout timing and is not responsible for processor-imposed delays or holds.
How are farms selected for the pilot?
We’re starting with a small group of Florida farms to keep verification, payouts, and communication tight during the pilot.
When will projects be live?
As soon as pilot farms are onboarded and verified. Join the list and we’ll notify you first.
